Nepal Earthquake new pic

Thank you so much for your help. We are so touched by the outpouring of support we have received from you, on a personal as well as human level. All of us have family and friends in Nepal who are directly affected and during this time of sleeplessness and turmoil, it is wonderful to that we can all come together as human beings.

We have connected with many 501(c)3 nonprofit partners on the ground as well as medical teams that are traveling to Nepal (especially rural areas) by Monday next week. This means that the donations you have provided will begin helping people right away and even more so next week!

We also have several community members (all experts in providing aid) traveling in May. What all of this means is that we will be able to send waves of assistance. We will keep this campaign alive so that Nepal is never forgotten and receives TARGETED, DIRECT help exactly where it is needed.

We are also grateful for the San Diego based media coverage we have received to get to keep this story alive and help Nepal. Without them, we would not have been able to succeed in helping Nepal so soon.

We have launched a website, www.helpnepaltoday.org, for anyone who wants to keep up with our activities, learn more, or donate directly (thereby bypassing any fees). All donations sent to us, on either platform, are tax-deductible.

We just completed our vigil at UCSD campus. It was successful and we are so thankful for the support that we have gotten. We will sleep more easily tonight. Many of us haven't slept in days but wishing peace for the victims has given us some, however minimal, sense of peace as well. The work will begin again tomorrow!
