Indian cricketer Suresh Raina exchanged the wedding vows with his childhood friend Priyanka on Friday night in a private ceremony attended by family members and close friends including few of his team-mates at the Leela Palace Hotel in New Delhi.
The star player and Priyanka, who presently works at The Netherlands, have been friends since long and their families too have a close association.
The star studded ceremony saw the presence of big names from both within and outside the cricket world. People who graced the high-profile wedding with their attendance include Indian Cricket Captain including MS Dhoni and wife Sakshi, ICC Chairman N.Srinivasan, West Indies player Dwayne Bravo, actor Anupam Kher and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav amongst others.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma who were in Delhi until yesterday were expected to attend the wedding, but, according to the reports; the couple gave a miss to the event. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same.
The star Indian cricketer chose Delhi as the venue for his marriage as a large number of his friends stay here.
